Acts 2 Network

Acts2 Network is a growing family of churches built around the idea that ordinary Christians can live out the Great Commission together through local church community, meaningful relationships, and everyday practices of faith.

About Acts2 Network

What would church look like if it felt less like a place you attended and more like a family you shared life with?

That question captures much of the heart behind Acts2 Network.

Acts2 Network is a growing family of churches built around the idea that ordinary Christians can live out the Great Commission together through local church community, meaningful relationships, and everyday practices of faith. What began with a single local congregation has grown into a network with more than 1,900 covocational and full-time team members serving through churches, cities, college campuses, and ministry teams.

Despite that growth, the vision remains deeply personal: the church living like family and ordinary believers becoming lifelong workers for God's Kingdom.

From One Church to a Family of Churches

Acts2 Network didn't begin as a large network or organization. It grew out of the life of a local church.

As people were discipled, leaders were developed, and new ministry opportunities emerged, that original community began expanding into new campuses and cities. Over time, one congregation became a broader family of churches and ministry teams united by shared convictions and practices.

Today, members serve in different locations and ministry contexts, but Acts2 Network seeks to preserve the relational character that shaped its beginnings.

The goal isn't simply to create more churches. It's to develop communities where Christians can grow together, serve together, and spend their lives participating in God's mission.

Church as Family

One of the defining ideas within Acts2 Network is simple: church should live like family.

Christian community isn't meant to be limited to a weekly gathering. Faith is lived throughout ordinary life—in homes, friendships, meals, workplaces, campuses, conversations, ministry, and the everyday decisions people make.

Acts2 Network emphasizes relationships where believers genuinely know one another and walk through life together.

That means discipleship becomes more than attending a class or completing a program. It happens through shared experiences, honest conversations, serving alongside one another, studying Scripture, practicing hospitality, and helping each other follow Jesus over the course of a lifetime.

Ordinary Believers, Lifelong Kingdom Workers

Acts2 Network believes the Great Commission isn't reserved for pastors, missionaries, or professional ministry leaders.

Ordinary Christians can become lifelong Kingdom workers wherever God has placed them.

Some members serve in ministry full time, while others are covocational—working regular jobs while actively participating in church and ministry. Both can contribute meaningfully to evangelism, discipleship, hospitality, mentoring, church planting, and serving their communities.

This approach brings ministry into everyday life. A workplace, college campus, neighborhood, dinner table, or living room can become a place where relationships are formed and faith is shared.

The goal is to help believers see following Jesus and participating in His mission as a way of life rather than a separate activity added to an already busy schedule.

A Shared Way of Life

As Acts2 Network expanded across locations and generations, maintaining a shared culture became increasingly important.

That's where its Way of Life comes in.

Every community develops a culture—the habits, expectations, relationships, and behaviors that eventually become normal for the people within it. Acts2 Network's Way of Life describes the biblical practices and relational rhythms that have developed throughout the network over the years.

It isn't intended simply as a list of ideals.

Instead, it describes patterns of Christian life that members seek to practice together in the real world.

These shared rhythms help churches remain connected even as the network becomes larger and more diverse. Different congregations may serve different communities, but they share a common understanding of what everyday Christian life and ministry should look like.

Built for Real Life

Acts2 Network's Way of Life is intentionally designed around everyday life because that's where much of discipleship actually happens.

Following Jesus isn't confined to church services. It shapes how Christians build friendships, use their homes, approach their careers, raise families, spend their time, serve others, and respond to opportunities to share the Gospel.

By developing shared biblical practices within genuine relationships, Acts2 Network seeks to create an environment where spiritual growth and ministry naturally become part of ordinary life.

Living the Great Commission Together

Acts2 Network ultimately wants Christians to discover that they don't have to live the Christian life—or carry out the Great Commission—alone.

Through local churches, close relationships, shared practices, and a common commitment to God's Kingdom, believers can encourage one another through decades of Christian life and ministry.

At the heart of Acts2 Network is a vision of ordinary believers sharing ordinary life with one another while pursuing an extraordinary calling: becoming lifelong Kingdom workers who live out the Great Commission together.
