All God's Children International

All God’s Children International (AGCI) is a Christian child advocacy ministry working to protect vulnerable children, help families stay together, restore children who have been separated from their families, and address the systems that leave children growing up alone.

About All God’s Children International

What does a child need most when their world has been turned upside down?

Food, shelter, education, and healthcare matter. But All God’s Children International believes there's something else children desperately need: a safe and loving family.

All God’s Children International (AGCI) is a Christian child advocacy ministry working to protect vulnerable children, help families stay together, restore children who have been separated from their families, and address the systems that leave children growing up alone.

Whether a child has been affected by poverty, trafficking, exploitation, child labor, abandonment, or the child welfare system, AGCI works toward a future where that child can experience safety, healing, belonging, and family.

And at the center of that work is the love of Christ.

It Started With One Child

AGCI's story began in 1991 with Ron and Jan Beazely.

After seeing the devastating conditions facing children in Romania, the Beazely family felt God calling them toward adoption. Their daughter Heather traveled to Romania and returned home with the family's newly adopted daughter, Hannah.

But the experience opened their eyes to something much bigger.

Thousands of other children were still waiting.

When other families began asking how they could help children as well, the Beazelys responded—and All God's Children International was born.

What started with one family's adoption would eventually grow into a global ministry advocating for children and families around the world.

Keeping Children With Their Families

One of AGCI's biggest priorities today is preventing unnecessary family separation.

Children can enter institutions or child welfare systems because their families are struggling with poverty, housing, healthcare, education, legal problems, or other overwhelming circumstances.

AGCI works to strengthen vulnerable families before separation happens.

Through its Child Advocacy Centers and other programs, families can receive support such as counseling, parenting education, legal assistance, trauma-informed care, and help accessing basic necessities.

The goal isn't simply to help a child survive a crisis.

It's to strengthen the family around them.

Bringing Children Back Home

When separation has already happened, AGCI works toward safe family reunification whenever possible.

Children entering its care can receive immediate protection, nutritious food, healthcare, and trauma-informed support while teams work to locate family members and determine whether a safe path home exists.

Families may then receive the support they need to create a stable environment for the child's return.

And the relationship doesn't necessarily end when the child goes home.

Follow-up care helps families continue moving toward stability so reunification can become lasting restoration.

When Adoption Becomes the Path to Family

Sometimes returning to a child's biological family isn't possible.

In those situations, adoption can provide another path toward permanent family.

Adoption has been part of AGCI's story from the beginning, but its work has expanded significantly beyond adoption alone.

Today, the ministry looks at the larger circumstances that cause children to become separated from families in the first place.

That means protecting children in immediate danger, strengthening vulnerable families, supporting reunification, providing adoption services, preparing young people for independence, training caregivers, and working with leaders to improve child welfare systems.

Disrupting Trauma

AGCI describes itself as a "trauma disruptor."

That's important because simply changing a child's physical circumstances doesn't automatically erase what they've experienced.

Abuse, exploitation, abandonment, institutionalization, and family separation can leave deep wounds.

AGCI therefore incorporates trauma-wise approaches designed to help children and caregivers build trust, strengthen relationships, and move toward healing.

Its vision goes beyond removing children from dangerous situations. It wants children to experience the safety and relationships they need to flourish.

Because No Child Should Be Alone

Today, AGCI's work reaches across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and other regions of the world.

But despite the scale of the organization, its mission continues to come back to individual children and families.

AGCI believes children are created in the image of God and that Christians are called to stand up for those who are vulnerable.

That's why protecting children and restoring families aren't simply humanitarian goals for the organization. They're expressions of Christ's love.

At the heart of All God's Children International is a simple conviction: no child should have to face the world alone. Through protection, trauma-informed care, family preservation, reunification, adoption, and systemic change, AGCI works toward a world where children can heal, belong to families, and experience the love and hope of God.
