70x7 Life Recovery

70x7 Life Recovery is a Christ-centered reentry ministry walking alongside individuals and families whose lives have been affected by incarceration.

About 70x7 Life Recovery

70x7 takes a holistic approach to reentry, helping people navigate the difficult transition from incarceration back into their families, workplaces, churches, and communities.

Leaving incarceration can be an overwhelming experience. Someone may walk out carrying hopes for a new beginning while immediately facing difficult questions: Where will I live? How will I find a job? Who will give me another chance? How do I rebuild relationships with my family? Without meaningful support, these challenges can quickly become barriers to lasting freedom.

70x7 exists to help people take that next step.

What Does 70x7 Mean?

The name 70x7 comes from Jesus' teaching about forgiveness in Matthew 18:21–22.

When Peter asks Jesus how many times he should forgive someone who sins against him, Jesus responds not merely seven times, but "seventy times seven."

That message of extraordinary forgiveness is at the heart of 70x7 Life Recovery.

People returning from incarceration may carry the weight of past decisions, damaged relationships, rejection, and the feeling that their mistakes will always define them.

The Gospel offers another story, one in which forgiveness, redemption, restoration, and a new beginning are possible through Jesus Christ.

70x7 seeks to embody that message by becoming a community where people are welcomed, supported, challenged, and given opportunities to move forward.

The past is acknowledged, but it does not have to determine the future.

The Reentry Journey

The first days and months after incarceration can be some of the most important moments in a person's journey toward lasting freedom.

Everyday needs such as finding housing or securing employment can become enormous challenges when someone is trying to navigate them alone.

70x7 helps bridge that gap.

The ministry equips individuals with practical tools for successful reentry, including job readiness, employment opportunities, life skills, housing support, mentorship, case management, and relationships with people who genuinely want to see them succeed.

Supporting Families

Incarceration affects entire families, not just the individual serving a sentence.

Families may experience uncertainty about what life will look like when their loved one returns home.

Reentry can therefore be both a joyful and challenging season for everyone involved.

70x7 supports families throughout this process, helping create an environment where relationships can begin to heal and families can move forward together.

70x7's Mission

70x7 exists to empower individuals and families impacted by incarceration as they journey toward lasting freedom through the hope and healing found in Jesus Christ.

That mission combines practical support with spiritual transformation.

Employment, housing, mentorship, and life skills can help someone rebuild stability, while the Gospel provides a deeper foundation of identity, forgiveness, purpose, and hope.

The ministry ultimately wants individuals and families to experience a kind of freedom that reaches every area of life.

70x7's Vision

70x7 envisions a future where people affected by incarceration are restored and equipped to experience true freedom through the transforming love of God.

Instead of allowing incarceration to become the final chapter of someone's story, 70x7 believes redemption can open the door to something new.

70x7's Values

Christ-Centered

Jesus Christ is at the heart of 70x7 Life Recovery.

The ministry believes lasting restoration is ultimately rooted in His love, forgiveness, grace, and ability to transform lives.

Practical resources are important, but they are offered alongside the deeper hope found in the Gospel.

Every person is seen as someone created by God, deeply valued, and capable of experiencing redemption.

Church-Based

70x7 believes healing happens in community.

Local churches can provide something that programs alone cannot: people willing to walk alongside someone for the long journey.

By connecting individuals with Christian community, the ministry helps create a support system that can continue well beyond the initial stages of reentry.

Collaborative

Rebuilding a life requires people working together.

70x7 values partnerships that can contribute to successful reentry.

Each relationship can remove another barrier and create another opportunity for someone working toward a better future.

Together, these partnerships help turn second chances into sustainable new beginnings.

Relational

Real transformation rarely happens in isolation.

70x7 believes meaningful change begins through genuine human connection.

Mentors, coaches, family members, church communities, and supportive relationships provide encouragement and accountability while reminding individuals that they do not have to walk through reentry alone.

Empowering

70x7 believes every person matters.

The goal is not dependence but empowerment, helping people take ownership of their future while recognizing their God-given worth and potential.

At the heart of 70x7 Life Recovery is the belief that incarceration does not have to define the rest of someone's life.
